Power Up

Power Up featured an arcade-inspired, retro 8-bit video game theme. In the game, alliances competed to gain control of field elements by placing yellow "power cubes" on large balancing scales. The field had three key scoring elements: a central scale and two smaller switches on either side. Alliances could tip these scales in their favor by strategically stacking cubes, thereby earning points over time. Power cubes could also be used to activate special power-ups, such as boosting their score or temporarily gaining control of scoring elements. In the final phase, robots could climb a rung on the central scale, simulating the task of “defeating the boss,” for additional endgame points. The game emphasized strategy, teamwork, and precise control, creating dynamic matches with shifting alliances and opportunities for dramatic comebacks.
